New textile production technology

Vortex spinning, also known as air-jet spinning or rotor spinning, is a new type of textile production technology. It was developed in the early 1960s and is mainly used to produce short-fiber yarns. Vortex spinning technology has the advantages of high production efficiency, low cost, and simple equipment, and has gradually become an important spinning method in the textile industry.
The working principle of vortex spinning is to use high-speed airflow to stretch, condense, and form fiber strips into yarn. The specific process is as follows:
1. The fiber strip enters the vortex-spinning equipment through the feeding device.
2. The high-speed airflow stretches the fiber strips and disperses the fibers in the airflow.
3. The fiber's friction in the airflow, results in an electrostatic effect, causing the fibers to agglomerate with each other.
4. After condensing the fibers, they are guided through the yarn guide hook to form yarn.
5. The yarn is wound onto the drum under air flow to complete the spinning process.
Vortex spinning technology has the following advantages:
1. High production efficiency: The spinning speed of vortex spinning is much faster than that of traditional ring spinning, which greatly improves production efficiency.
2. Save energy: Vortex spinning equipment has a simple structure and low energy consumption.
3. Strong adaptability: Vortex spinning can produce yarns of different fibers and specifications, and has strong adaptability.
4. Stable product quality: The yarn produced by vortex spinning has good uniformity and strength, and the product quality is stable.
However, vortex spinning technology also has some limitations, such as greater damage to fibers and relatively poor gloss and softness of the yarn. Despite this, vortex-spinning technology still has broad application prospects in the textile industry.
